Sydney Eisteddfod is thrilled to be celebrating its 90th birthday with a special gala concert at the iconic Sydney Town Hall, ensuring this momentous occasion is met with celebration and recognition of the past 90 years.

The anniversary gala will showcase the extraordinary talent of over eighty Sydney Eisteddfod alumni, featuring the Gala Alumni Orchestra of musicians united by their shared history and connection with the Eisteddfod, under the expert baton of Dr Nicholas Milton AM. With guest performances by Anna Da Silva Chen, Rosie Gallagher and Benett Tsai, and a breathtaking program of classical music, audiences are sure to be left spellbound.

The event includes a specially assembled Gala Massed Choir.

Be part of a historical event, commemorating the Sydney Eisteddfod’s incredible 90-year legacy as it looks forward to a bright future.

Attendance at the Anniversary Gala will be met with figures such as the deputy Lord Mayor, Cr Sylvie Ellsmore and Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor.

You and your choir are invited to sing in a glittering evening for music lovers of all ages at the iconic Sydney Town Hall at the Sydney Eisteddfod 90th Anniversary Gala.

We invite all choirs to join the Gala Massed Choir and sing with the powerful Gala Alumni Orchestra of over 80 musicians and soloists under the expert baton of conductor Dr Nicholas Milton AM.

This is your choir’s chance to be part of a historic Sydney event, commemorating the Sydney Eisteddfod’s incredible 90-year legacy as it looks forward to a bright future.

Sing Händel’s famous Worthy is the Lamb from The Messiah, Edward Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance and Hubert Parry’s rousing Jerusalem. All music is provided.
