Volunteers are an essential part of our Sydney Eisteddfod Festival
Sydney Eisteddfod is a not-for-profit organisation formed to bring people together in the community through providing opportunities for young artists to express themselves through the Performing Arts.
Who can volunteer?
Sydney Eisteddfod’s success in encouraging and supporting the Performing Arts owes much to its highly valued pool of volunteers. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and range in age from 18 to 95!
Whether you are a student requiring practical experience in Performing Arts management, a parent with an interest in the Arts, an organisation with a community service program for your staff, or even a retiree looking for something different and fun to do with like-minded people; Sydney Eisteddfod offers a variety of roles in various categories to help cater to your interests.
We have roles available in categories including:
- Classical & Contemporary Singing
- Instrumental Solos & Groups
- Speech & Drama
- Dance Solos & Groups
We will brief you about your assigned roles and work closely with you to help you feel comfortable, and we will do our best to ensure that you enjoy your time with us.
*It is mandatory that from 2016, all volunteers & staff who are associated with an organisation that provides services to children obtain a Working With Children number.
