Experience the Ajkun Methodology: Auditions and Workshop with Ajkun Ballet Theatre

Sydney Eisteddfod is thrilled be hosting Ajkun Ballet Theatre, a premier New York City-based company, for exclusive workshops and auditions in Sydney this July.

Under the visionary direction of Dr Chiara Ajkun, a pioneer in dance medicine, Ajkun Ballet Theatre offers a distinctive blend of classical excellence and modern innovation. Their unique Ajkun Methodology focuses on unlearning outdated movement patterns and rebuilding technique from the ground up, with an emphasis on injury prevention, physical longevity, and artistic development.

This is a unique opportunity for intermediate to advanced/professional dancers aged 13 and above to train with world-renowned artists and explore potential pathways with Ajkun Ballet Theatre. These workshops and auditions are completely independent and unaffiliated with any local schools, making them open to all aspiring dancers. Not only do the workshops provide a valuable chance for dancers to explore another methodology and expand their cultural dance education, but they also offer crucial audition experience with international faculty. As an added bonus, it’s a great way to meet and connect with other passionate dancers!

The Auditions and Workshops are an excellent opportunity for students considering full-time training overseas and for graduates seeking professional contracts to develop their careers.
