Entry Information

Two contrasting items. 3-16 Singers. Entrants may use live accompaniment, backing tracks or sing both items 'a cappella'. Special emphasis on vocal ability being the main criterion. Attention to stage presentation and group production also taken into consideration. Time limit up to 4 minutes each.

For larger groups please refer to Events 101-118. Entrants may use live accompaniment, backing tracks or sing both items 'a cappella.' Up to 4 handheld microphones and stands will be available. Group members will need to share microphones if more than four singers. Any futher technical requests need to be emailed and approved by the Sydney Eisteddfod Office no later than two weeks prior to the event. Music Theatre Declaration (if applicable): entrants and or their legal guardian, or ensemble leader must e-sign a declaration prior to their event stating the title of the song/s, composer & relevant production. This declaration will be made available to entrants upon receiving their entry confirmation, and must be submitted no later than two weeks prior to the event. Please refer to the Contemporary Singing Rules & Conditions of Entry. Your entry is accepted under these conditions.
