Entry Information

Own choice of one or more published poems from an Australian poet. To be performed in rehearsal blacks (not in costume). Total performance time of up to 4 minutes, which includes time taken between items.

Note: Copies of work(s) to be performed must be uploaded to the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal no later than two weeks prior to the event. Please refer to the Speech & Drama Rules & Conditions of Entry. Your entry is accepted under these conditions.

Winner: $200 & Medal 2nd: $150 & Medal 3rd: $100 & Medal * The Eisteddfod movement has been a large part of Noel Cislowski AM 's life stemming from his early experiences as a successful performer in both voice and drama through to his ongoing passion and commitment to Sydney Eisteddfod as an adjudicator, long-term member of the Board for 48 years, serving as Chairman for 5 years and retiring in December 2022. Noel is a highly esteemed adjudicator of Music and Speech and Drama throughout Australia and New Zealand. These awards acknowledge Noel's particular passion for Australian Poetry.
