445: Junior Ballet Championship (11 Years)
Entry Information
Entrants perform two contrasting items - a classical ballet solo, and a contemporary, lyrical or demi-character solo. Time limit up to 3 minutes per solo. All entrants will perform their classical ballet solo first. Once all classical ballet solos are completed, entrants will return for their contemporary item, performing in the same order. This will allow for costume changes between items.
Important Notes
No pointe work allowed.
Entrants are encouraged to vary repertoire when performing in multiple events in order to develop their expressive and technical capabilities. However, there are no restrictions on the number of times that repertoire can be repeated across multiple events, including Principal events.
Note: Music is to be uploaded to the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal no later than two weeks prior to the event. Files should be in MP3 format.
Conditions
Adjudicator reports will have comments only (no marks) for this Championship. If insufficient entries in either Events 449 or 456 these will combine. Please refer to the Dance Rules & Conditions of Entry. Your entry is accepted under these conditions.
