Entry Information

Entrants perform two contrasting items - a free variation solo (excluding classical ballet, demi-character and tap), and a contrasting jazz (Including lyrical jazz & music theatre) solo. Time limit up to 3 minutes per solo. All entrants will perform their free variation solo first. Once all free variation solos are completed, entrants will return for their jazz item, performing in the same order. This will allow for costume changes between items.

Important Notes

Entrants are encouraged to vary repertoire when performing in multiple events in order to develop their expressive and technical capabilities. However, there are no restrictions on the number of times that repertoire can be repeated across multiple events, including Principal events.

Note: Music is to be uploaded to the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal no later than two weeks prior to the event. Files should be in MP3 format.

Conditions

Adjudicator reports will have comments only (no marks) for this Championship. Please refer to the Dance Rules & Conditions of Entry. Your entry is accepted under these conditions.
