103: Small Vocal Ensemble (Any Age)
Entry Information
A selection of at least two items. Total performance time of up to 8 minutes, which includes time taken between items.
Important Notes
A chorister may appear with a maximum of 2 different choirs in the same event provided they are bonafide members of both groups and each group contains no more than 20% of the same performers from another group in the same event.
Applicants will be prompted to complete additional information, via the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal, in the lead up to their event:
* Number of performers
* Names of helpers, conductors, accompanists, or associate artists who will require venue back of house access
Helpers with school groups: These helpers need to remain with the group at all times, including going with them into the warm-up room, settling the group on stage, assisting, and supervising the group after their performance.
Depending on the running order, some choir groups may have time to sit in the audience to watch the start of the event. When it is time to go back-stage, the compere of the event will make an announcement.
Conditions
8-20 Voices. Any combination of voices. Accompanied or unaccompanied. No microphones provided. Backing tracks not permitted.
At the discretion of the Adjudicator(s) and Sydney Eisteddfod Management, selected place-getters may be invited to perform in Event 100. Please refer to the Choirs Rules & Conditions of Entry. Your entry is accepted under these conditions.
