Entry Information

Own choice of a program. The advised standard for this event is Grade 4+ or equivalent. No vocals, however vocalising allowed if included in the score. Total performance time of up to 20 minutes, which includes time taken between items.

Important Notes

A hard copy of complete scores, in order of performance, with bars numbered and clearly labelled with the Entrant Number, must be provided upon arrival at the venue. Specific genre items (e.g. Romantic, Classical) and Grades must also be identified on scores.

Conditions

Minimum 18 instrumentalists (Please note Sydney Eisteddfod can provide a maximum of 60 orchestral chairs and only 50 music stands).

Should groups intend on bringing additional instruments or equipment they must notify Sydney Eisteddfod, no later than two weeks prior to the performance date, to [email protected]

Acoustic substitutes (e.g. clarinet for oboe, or piano for harp) are acceptable.
