338: Monologue in Character (12 Years)

Own choice of one published monologue, to be performed in costume.
Total performance time to be between 2-3 minutes.

Talisa is an Arts educator and voice, speech and acting coach. She has coordinated theatre programs in Brisbane schools, privately coaches students and clients, works with the Acting Team at JMC Academy, and adjudicates Eisteddfods and Play Festivals around QLD. Talisa sits on the English Speaking Union Board, co-coordinating their state-wide Public Speaking Competition and chairing the Secondary School’s Judging Team for the Roly Sussex Short Story Competition. She is passionate about the Arts empowering voices; her students excel in AMEB examinations, work professionally in Film/ Theatre, perform with QT's Ensembles and gain acceptance to drama schools around the country.
Conditions
Note: A copy of the work to be performed must be uploaded to the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal no later than two weeks prior to the event.
If insufficient entries in either Events 338 or 341 these will combine.

*Clifford and Dulcie Lenton, both long time presidents of the Speech and Drama Association of NSW, were eminent practitioners in speech and drama and communication. Clifford specialised in business management and Dulcie was a well-loved and highly respected teacher, examiner and adjudicator. Their contributions to the field were immeasurable.
