Sydney-born clarinettist, Amy Whyte is a sought-after freelancing musician and teacher who loves ocean swimming in her spare time. After spending two wonderfully challenging years studying at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome with world-renowned clarinet maestro Alessandro Carbonare, she returned to Australia keen to perform with exceptional Australian musicians and promote Australian music. And that she did; now frequently performing, teaching, conducting and inspiring young musicians around Australia.

At the discretion of Sydney Eisteddfod Management, selected place-getters aged 13-15 years may qualify for Event 220: Sydney Eisteddfod Alf & Pearl Pollard Memorial Instrumental Awards for Performance Excellence (13-15 Years).
If insufficient entries in either Events 274 or 275 these will combine.
