With a background that spans classical crossover, pop, and musical theatre, Keane brings a unique blend of vocal skill, dramatic range, and performance experience to every stage he steps onto.
Originally from Tweed Heads, Keane trained at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Since graduating, he’s worked across a range of productions around the country. Recent theatre credits include The 50th Anniversary Tour of The Rocky Horror Show, where he understudied and performed the role of Frank N Furter; Anthony ‘Tick’ Belrose in Priscilla Queen of the Desert (MWE); and The Phantom of the Opera on Sydney Harbour as part of Opera Australia’s first post-Covid Handa Opera season.
Keane also spent several years touring internationally with The Ten Tenors. With the group, he performed in venues of all shapes and sizes—from theatres and concert halls to stadiums—and across a variety of events, including appearances on NBC’s Today Show, Oprah’s Ultimate Australian Adventure, and at the UEFA Cup Opening Ceremony in Warsaw.
His recordings with The Ten Tenors include Wish You Were Here (which reached #1 on the ARIA Classical Crossover Chart), as well as Our Christmas Wish, Love Is In The Air, On Broadway, Double Platinum, and Nostalgica.
Keane is currently starring as Cal in the Australian premiere of Titanique for Michael Cassel Group.
