439: Tap Championship (14 Years & Under)
Entry Information
Entrants perform two contrasting items which are to vary in tempo: slow and fast, in this order.
Time limit up to 3 minutes per solo.
All entrants will perform their slow routine first. Once all slow routines are completed, entrants will return for their fast routine, performing in the same order. This will allow for costume changes between items.

Lisa Maloney an adjudicator for more than 15 years is the current President of Australian Dance Adjudicators. Her attention to technique and performance skills has been a strong attribute of her adjudicating style.
Lisa has travelled overseas and interstate as well as adjudicating both metropolitan and country competitions within NSW. She was invited to New Zealand to adjudicate as a specialist in tap and has conducted workshops and scholarship classes within her adjudicating appointments.
Her motto is “practice, practice, practice” believing that this gives a performer the best foundation to bring a confident and engaging performance to the stage.

Both items may have been performed once in another event (please refer to Item 5 under the Dance Category Rules & Conditions)
Note: Music is to be uploaded to the Sydney Eisteddfod Entrant Portal no later than two weeks prior to the event. Files should be in MP3 format. Please refer to Item 15 of the Dance Rules & Conditions of Entry.
Conditions
Adjudicator reports will have comments only (no marks) for this Championship.
If insufficient entries in either Events 419 or 439 these will combine.
