Having made his professional music theatre debut at the impressionable age of 12,Todd Goddard can be considered a veteran of the Australian music theatre scene. In over 35 years in ‘the business’ he has appeared in more than 11 professional music theatre productions, four of them being World Premieres. He appears on the SONY Australia recordings of SHOUT! and Annie, and has worked with some of the most in uential creatives in the industry, including Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Sir David McVicar (Le Nozze De Figaro).
He has recently completed the Australian Tour of Georgy Girl, and can list the national tours of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Annie, Dr Zhivago, The Phantom Of The Opera (Anthony Warlow 2007-09), Dusty:
The Original Pop Diva and Shout! amongst his professional credits.
Todd is a lifelong Sydney resident, and was very proud to perform in the Australian premiere of Adam Guettel’s The Light In The Piazza and Maury Yeston’s Titanic here in his Home state, before joining an international cast for a South Korean and Taiwanese tour of Frank Wildhorn’s Jekyll & Hyde.
Todd holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Sydney in Performance Studies, and has studied voice under Margaret Kozlowski and Bob Tasman-Smith. During his career he has had the great pleasure to work alongside Australian theatre luminaries like Anthony Warlow, Nancye Hayes, Ross Coleman and Richard Wherrett.
When not performing Todd teaches singing and music theatre performance from his Home studio.
