"Emotion, Discovery, Expression, Art, Indescribable"

"This is probably the hardest, most broad question in history! Ballet is like a mozzie bite you can’t stop itching. It hurts, and you know that the more you do it the more pain you’ll be in – but it just feels SO GOOD! To me, ballet is more than movement/art with the body, it is a conversation with the music from your heart. When I dance, it’s as if my brain no longer controls my thoughts and feelings and I’m filled with the most unbelievable sense of freedom and serenity. Performing is another level entirely! It’s like that long-anticipated breath of fresh air after being submerged in cold water for too long. Your entire body screams out in excitement and the rest of the world and everything in it goes completely silent – time stops and there is suddenly nothing more important than the music and its control over your body."
