Sydney Eisteddfod welcomes Deborah Humble as newly appointed Ambassador

Sydney Eisteddfod is delighted to announced that esteemed Australian mezzo-soprano Deborah Humble is a newly appointed Sydney Eisteddfod Ambassador.

Deborah continues to enjoy a revered international career in the operatic arts that in recent years has seen her travel across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the United Kingdom. In 2015, she made her role debut as Branngaene in ‘Tristan and Isolde’ in Mexico City, sang in Mahler's ‘8th Symphony’ in Singapore, Verdi's ‘Requiem’ at the Sage Concert Hall in England and Beethoven's ‘9th Symphony’ in Hong Kong. She also appeared as Erda in ‘Siegfried’ at Boston Symphony Hall.

In 2016, Deborah adjudicated all-rounds of the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship, with all entrants appreciating her detailed and informative feedback. 

Deborah's continued support for the organisation, particularly the Sydney Eisteddfod Opera Scholarship is much appreciated and Sydney Eisteddfod is certain she will do a brilliant job.
