After a year off in 2020 for the very first time since WWII, our Festival has finally returned, and it’s going to be BETTER THAN EVER!

Are you ready to perform Live on Stage?!

We sure are ready to see you!

Get pumped for a jam-packed year of show stopping performances and talent.

With over $400,000 worth of prizes and scholarships to be won and 300+ events across all genres of the performing arts, there’s something for everyone!

Our mission to promote and encourage lifelong engagement with the performing arts, is even more  important than it has ever been before, especially after the year we all had in 2020.

Our scholarship events exist so that placing entrants can be financially assisted in the exploration of their passions and pursue their dreams through professional local or overseas study.

Whether you are an aspiring ballerina wanting to kickstart your career, a learning pianist wanting to perform to an audience, a hopeful newsreader in the making, you name it, we have something to suit each and every performance passion!

Come on and dream, perform, achieve and inspire with us in 2021 – we’ve missed you!

Get in Early and Enter Now!

Note that we have increased our scholarship age cut-off by one year so that anyone who would have just met our scholarship age requirements in 2020 can still enter these events in 2021!
if you have transferred your entry fees from 2020 to 2021, sit tight! You will receive a confirmation of your new entries in early February.

Entries close March 12!
IMPORTANT INFO - The Show MUST go on!

As and if restrictions change, we may need to adjust and adapt categories and events closer to the time of their performance dates. Entrants are advised to monitor our website and regularly check emails and social media for current and up-to-date information relating to their event, but currently we are in 'all systems go' for all categories of the Festival.

We have planned for and are hoping to hold 'live - on stage' performances for most of our events and can assure our treasured entrants and their families that Sydney Eisteddfod will, in some shape or form, go ahead in 2021.

After consultation with our community, we have been advised that it will be even more challenging for large groups to comply with social distancing and travel rules under Covid-19 restrictions.

Two categories, choirs and instrumental groups will therefore be asked to submit Private Videos Submissions and judges will be asked to come to our office to judge and award prizes.

Prizes will be announced on our social media forum and website as usual.

However, as stated above, if restrictions change, we may need to adjust and adapt categories and events closer to the time of their performance dates.
