LATEST COVID UPDATE - MONDAY 21 JULY, 11Am

FURTHER PAUSE EXTENDED ON ALL SYDNEY EISTEDDFOD EVENTS UNTIL MONDAY 9 AUGUST - inclusive

To our Valued Sydney Eisteddfod family

We have now been in lockdown for 4 weeks and at this stage we can't say with any certainty when we will definitely be out of lockdown on any particular day in August.

We are closely monitoring the daily press conferences by the NSW Premier and the NSW Health Officer and after taking everything into consideration, the Sydney Eisteddfod Board have made the decision to FURTHER EXTEND our current pause on all scheduled events in our 2021 Festival Calendar until Monday 9 August (inclusive).

This includes all events which had previously been on pause since Friday 25 June and now also include the new/rescheduled ones coming up as follows:

Ballet Scholarship Preliminary Rounds - August 1 - 5 - various venues
Saturday 31 July & Sunday 1 August at the Concert Hall, Concourse, Chatswood
Monday 2 & Tuesday 3 August at Lighthouse Church, Crows Nest
Saturday 7 August at Kawai Showroom, St Leonards

AND THE FOLLOWING FINALS ARE NOW POSTPONED until further notice:

SE NSW Drs Orchestra Instrumental Scholarship (16-26 yrs) - was re-scheduled for 4 August
SE Junior Piano Scholarship (11-16 years) - was scheduled for 5 August
SE Kawai Piano Scholarship (17-26 years) - was scheduled for 6 August
SE Opera Scholarship (36/u) - was scheduled for 8 August
SE Ballet Scholarship (16-19 years) - was scheduled for 22 August

It is our intention to reschedule these towards late August and into September & October.

We thank you for your continuing patience as the Sydney Eisteddfod Team works through these changes. Be sure to keep an eye out for our emails (check your Spam Folder regularly as well). This will be the first place we will let you know the updated information for your events.

Thank you for your continuing understanding and patience during these challenging and extenuating times, and we look forward to seeing you all back on stage as soon as possible!
