Total Performance Time of up to 20 minutes, which includes time taken between items. 10 minute warm-up.

All music SHOULD be of Grade 4 standard.

Minimum 18 Players (Please note Sydney Eisteddfod can only provide a MAXIMUM of 60 chairs & 50 music stands. For extra chairs & music stands please email: entries@sydneyeisteddfod.com.au at least 2 weeks prior to the performance date).

No singing.

This event is for traditional concert band instrumentation. The bass line only may be doubled by electric bass guitar/s or single keyboard (permission for any variation to this must be sought from Sydney Eisteddfod in writing at least one month prior to the event). Acoustic substitutes (e.g. clarinet for oboe, or piano for harp) are acceptable.
