Due to evolving Covid restrictions on live events in NSW, this event will be by Private Video Submission. More information on how to submit your videos will be made available on our website in mid-April. 

Own choice of a program.

Total Performance Time of up to 15 minutes, which includes time taken between items.

Music required for the adjudicator, to be submitted in performance order, and entrants must also identify the 'Grade' on each item of music when submitting online.

No singing, however vocalising allowed if included in the score.

Minimum 18 Players.

All music SHOULD be between Grade 2.5 to Grade 3.5 standard. For developing bands. Bands playing above the level standard for this event will be adjudicated for comments only.

This event is for traditional concert band instrumentation. The bass line only may be doubled by electric bass guitar/s or single keyboard (permission for any variation to this must be sought from Sydney Eisteddfod in writing at least one month prior to the event). Acoustic substitutes (e.g. clarinet for oboe, or piano for harp) are acceptable.
