The excitement is building for the annual Sydney Eisteddfod DANCE OF CHAMPIONS
TOMORROW, Sunday September 15!

The Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions features this year’s most outstanding dance troupes from across all genres and age groups performing in a spectacular “battle of the best” format with fun, energetic and talented dancers displaying their talents all under one roof.

Brigidine college company

Secondary School Jazz/Musical Theatre Dance Group (Yrs 7 to 12)

Brigidine College Jazz Company presents “See Me In a Crown”. The group consists of dancers from Years 8-12. The work depicts the idea of hierarchy of power and how the struggle to attain and maintain power can become consuming.

Modern Expressive/Lyrical Group (14/u)

Owned by Amanda Whittaker & Kate Frazer, Dance North Academy is one of the Northern Beaches’ longest established schools. DNA prides itself on providing high-quality technical & artistic training, which has seen students pursue successful careers, both nationally and internationally.

Jazz Dance Group (14/u) 

Joanne Grace School Of Dance will perform “Dangerous” choreographed by Tarah Scott. An item which was performed for the first time at this years Sydney Eisteddfod. The group is made up of dancers aged 13 and 14 yrs who study all genres of dance and they are thrilled to have the opportunity to perform it again in front of such a large crowd.
