The excitement is building for the annual Sydney Eisteddfod DANCE OF CHAMPIONS
THIS Sunday September 15!

The Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions features this year’s most outstanding dance troupes from across all genres and age groups performing in a spectacular “battle of the best” format with fun, energetic and talented dancers displaying their talents all under one roof.

Here we introduce you to 3 of our 18 talented and amazing finalists!

North Shore Dance Academy

Contemporary Dance Group (14/u)

North Shore Dance Academy, led by Anne Gray, is proud of alumni who are performing in companies around the world. In this stunning group performing are Ben Moss and Jordan Sawtell who have been accepted into the Australian Ballet School.

Pacific Hills Christian School

Primary Jazz/ Musical Theatre/ Hip Hop Dance Group 

Pacific Hills Christian School is a co-educational school located in Dural. OneMaker Academy, their performing arts program, aims to cultivate a creative and inspiring atmosphere for students. Their dancers are excited to give their best and shine at Dance of Champions!

Burraneer Bay Public School


Cronulla, NSW
Primary School Dance Group (Yrs K to 6)

This dance comprises of 16 students from the Extension Dance group at Burraneer Bay Public School (Cronulla). All students are in either Year 4 or 5 and auditioned to be in this elite group. They recently won the Primary Schools K-6 dance section at the Opera House. The contemporary routine they will perform is “Ruby Slippers”. They are the monkeys from The Wizard of Oz tying to steal Dorothy’s slippers!
