Lyn Pierse, teacher and NIDA Acting Graduate, is Australia’s most recognised teacher of Improvisation teaching a generation of actors, improvisers,teachers,comics & corporates for 40 years including; NIDA (22 years), ACA, AIM DRAMA, HUB Studios, ISA, UNE, Macquarie Uni., Sophia UniversityTokyo,ATYP, Drama NSW, Speech & Drama Teachers’ Association NSW, Genesian Theatre, UNESCO Chair Romania, and a host of Corporate clients.

As National Coach, Lyn pioneered Theatrespor ts® teaching across Australia and New Zealand for Belvoir Street Theatre. She established Theatresports® and Improvisation companies in Japan.She’s staged Improvisation and Charity extravaganzas; Cranston Cup, Celebrity, National, InternationalTheatresports® Challenges, Much Ado About Impro Improvised Shakespeare, 30th AnniversaryTheatresports ® Celebrity Challenge to capacity audiences at Sydney Opera House, Enmore Theatre, Belvoir St., NIDA Playhouse, QPAC, State Theatre South Australia. Her Acting credits include;Three Sisters Sport For Jove, The Importance of Being Earnest,The Pigeons Griffin Independent, Roberto Zucco Old Fitzroy,TheWomen Of Lockerbie,Australian Premier Berkhoff ’s Greek, Rex Cramphorne’s Measure For Measure, Neil Armfield’s Season At Sarsaparilla,Woyzek and Nick Enright’s original Summer Rain. As her alto ego ‘Sr. Mary Leonard’ she has hosted Theatreports® at the Sydney Opera House, Enmore, Belvoir Street, Virgin Comics, Comics on the Cross,Tokyo British Club and appeared at Melbourne’s Last Laugh Le Joke and ABC’s Big Gig.
