Following the Heats on Sunday 20 June at the Kawai Australia Showroom, Sydney Eisteddfod is pleased to announce that FOUR FINALISTS have been selected to compete in the Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Piano Scholarship on Friday 6 August at the Zenith Theatre in Chatswood.
The Scholarship discovers and encourages promising young pianists aged 17-26 years. It attracts pianists across Australia with extraordinary music talent and a level of skill required for a professional career.
The finalists were selected by adjudicators Gerard Willems AM and Dr Katie Zhukov after a display of inspiring talent and outstanding performances in the heats last month.
All live performances took place at the Kawai Australia Showroom or alternatively, they were submitted and judged via video recording.
The following finalists will compete in the Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Piano Scholarship Final at The Zenith Theatre in Chatswood on Friday 6 August at 6:00pm.
