JUST IN: 2019 Piano Scholarship Finalists

Following the Heats on Sunday 30 June at Kawai Australia Showroom, Sydney Eisteddfod is pleased to announce that four finalists have been selected to progress to the Final event.

The Scholarship discovers and encourages promising young pianists ages 16-25 years. It attracts pianists across Australia with extraordinary music talent and level of skill required for a professional career. The competition at the 2019 Heats was tougher than ever seen before.

The finalists were selected by adjudicators Vivian Choi and Ian Munro after a display of immense talent and outstanding performances.

The following finalists will compete at the Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai Piano Scholarship Final at Sydney Conservatorium of Music on Friday 9 August at 6:00pm.

Calvin Abdiel (Epping)
Nicholas Kennedy (Willoughby North)

It is anticipated to be a fantastic evening of immense talent.
