Australian born Europe based tenor Hubert Francis is one of the leading singing actors of his generation. An Alumni of the RNCM and The Royal Opera Covent Garden’s Young Artists Programme , he works with Conductors: Ades, Benini, Bychkov, Joel, Hrusa, Jurowski, Koenigs, Pappano & Salonen; Directors: Jones, Kosky, La Fura del Baus, Loy, McVicar, Pountney & Tchernikov across four continents.
Recent critically acclaimed debuts include Shuisky Boris Godunov at London’s Royal Festival Hall and the Captain Wozzeck at The Helsinki Festival alongside Karita Mattila as Marie and Florian Boesch. He works in the opera houses, concert halls and festivals of Adelaide, Amsterdam, Bergen, Bournemouth, B regenz, Buxton Cardiff, Dortmund, Dublin , Edinburgh, Geneva.
