One of Sydney's biggest days of dance, on stage in the magnificent Concert Hall, Sydney Opera House. Thousands of dancers performing throughout the day's three sessions.

1: Sydney Eisteddfod OPERA SCHOLARSHIP (37 & Under)

This event, originally known as The Sun Aria, was established with the first City of Sydney Eisteddfod in 1933 to discover fine voices throughout Australia and New Zealand. This year we are very proud to announce a partnership with Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, who will accompany the finalists under the baton of Maestro Dr Nicholas Milton.

This Scholarship is established to discover and encourage a promising young pianist of the level required for a professional career.

212: Sydney Eisteddfod Kawai JUNIOR PIANO SCHOLARSHIP (11-16 Years)

220: Sydney Eisteddfod ALF & PEARL POLLARD MEMORIAL INSTRUMENTAL AWARDS For Performance Excellence (13-15 Years)

To encourage the serious study of musicianship, The Pollard Family has generously provided this opportunity for instrumentalists in the 13 to 15 years age group to be considered for these Awards.

250: Sydney Eisteddfod NSW Drs Orchestra INSTRUMENTAL SCHOLARSHIP (16-26 Years)

This Scholarship endeavours to discover and encourage an outstanding instrumentalist in the fields of strings (bowed and plucked), woodwind or brass instruments.

400: Sydney Eisteddfod BALLET SCHOLARSHIP (16-20 Years)

The Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarships provide the most valuable and prestigious awards in the Southern Hemisphere to encourage students in the study of the art of ballet.
