Endeavour Harmony Chorus sings their way to Missouri

83 members of Endeavour Harmony Chorus performed in the 2018 Sweet Adelines International Convention & Competition at The Dome in the America's Centre, St Louis Missouri. The Sydney based women's a cappella ensemble competed alongside 33 other choruses and quartets in the world championships with the Semi-finals held on Thursday 18 October and the Finals on Saturday 20 October.

Active participants on the Sydney Eisteddfod stage, in 2018 Endeavour Harmony Chorus won third place in The Sydney Eisteddfod Australasian Open Choral Championship as well as claiming first place in the Show Choir and second place in the Community Choir events.

Having made their debut in the USA in 2015 as the first Australian chorus to reach the top 10 in the same event, Endeavour Harmony Chorus was determined to not only move the audience with their heartfelt performances of 'Love Letters Straight From You’re Heart' and 'My Honeys Lovin Arms,' but to gain an even better result in 2018.

"Both songs have a message or story we can relate to and so that helps us to give an authentic performance," said Lea Baker, Musical Director Endeavour Harmony Chorus.
