Competitors to take centre stage at NIDA

Sydney Eisteddfod is proud to announce it will once again be presenting Speech & Drama events at the renowned National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in 2018.

After joining Sydney Eisteddfod as a venue partner in 2017, NIDA will once again be opening its doors and offering Speech & Drama entrants the unique opportunity to perform on their iconic stages.

Highlight performances from last year’s Speech & Drama category included Hudson Musty, winner of the Sydney Eisteddfod Actors Championship (15 - 18 Years).

“As an actor, it is imperative to be able to walk into an unknown space and use it well, performing in Sydney Eisteddfod for over five years has taught me this” Hudson said.

NIDA is at the forefront of performing arts education and training in Australia, and Sydney Eisteddfod would like to express heartfelt gratitude for their continued support as a venue partner for this category.

Speech & Drama events will be held in the NIDA Studio and the NIDA Playhouse include:

310: The Sydney Eisteddfod ACTOR'S CHAMPIONSHIP (15-18 Years)
