The competition season may be over for 2016, however this has not stopped Sydney Eisteddfod Senior Singer of the Year Winner Molly Stewart from taking to the stage and using her voice to raise funds for those in need.

Following her win on the Sydney Eisteddfod stage, Molly performed as the headline act for Light the Night, the Leukaemia Foundation's annual fundraising walk to aid the fight against blood cancer. Stationed at the Wollongong Breakwater Lighthouse, she sang her heart out for the lantern-lit crowd made up of survivors, fighters and supporters.

Molly also recently performed at Classics in the Chapel, a monthly concert held in the Austinmer Village Chapel, which for the month of September also doubled as fundraiser. All proceeds from the event went towards helping a school in Nepal get back on its feet after a severe earthquake last year left the building decimated.

Sydney Eisteddfod is incredibly proud of Molly and all her recent achievements. It is always wonderful to hear of Sydney Eisteddfod entrants giving back to the community and using their talents to help others.
