McDonald's Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions is on this Sunday with host Prinnie Stevens

Dance enthusiasts can be part of the live audience and get behind their favourite dance crew by votingfor the best at the McDonald’s Sydney Eisteddfod Dance of Champions this Sunday, September 18. 

The event is a dance-off between the 17 best dance groups who competed in Sydney Eisteddfod’s 2016 festival, with dancers ranging from Kindergarten to High School age. 

With Channel 10 television cranes cruising the rafters and fans applauding non-stop, this riveting event brings the Sydney Eisteddfod dance program to an end with the very best troupes that competed this year pitting their skills for a share in a $28,000 prize purse. 

It will be a spectacular “battle of the best” show with fun, energetic and talented dancers displaying their talents all under one roof. Hosting the event is the incredibly talented dancer and singer Prinnie Stevens, former Top 4 contestant at The Voice Australia in 2012. 

The event, televised by Channel 10, promises to be one filled with fun, high energy and incredible talent. 

“I can’t wait to see all the amazing talent this year. The standard of Dance of Champions is world class and the event is a safe haven for many young Australian performers. I’m so excited!“ Prinnie said. 

 “Growing up, all I wanted to do was perform. Sydney Eisteddfod has played such a huge part in my life and it gave me and other young people the platform to perform, grow as an artist and become better and better each year.”
