2 March 2016:

Entries for the 2016 Sydney Eisteddfod close on March 14.

There is still time to register and join thousands of entrants taking part in one of the largest competitive performing arts festivals of its type in the world.

From May to September around 35,000 participants compete in more than 300 classical and contemporary events in the Sydney Eisteddfod.

As usual the 2016 Syllabus is packed with classical and contemporary events for singers, dancers, musicians, actors, dance troupes, drama groups, bands, choirs and orchestras.

Running since 1933, the Sydney Eisteddfod aims to promote the pursuit of excellence, especially amongst young people, with opportunities to perform in public through professionally judged competitions.
