2 February 2016:
Sydney Eisteddfod is now accepting entries for its 2016 Festival. The complete Syllabus is available on the Sydney Eisteddfod website, and as usual it is packed with classical and contemporary events for singers, dancers, musicians, actors, dance troupes, drama groups, bands, choirs and orchestras.
The 2015 Sydney Eisteddfod was a magnificent artistic success and the 2016 festival promises to be even more exciting. Performing in public is confidence building, so if you dream about making a career in the performing arts, want to test your skills before highly qualified adjudicators or simply experience the thrill of appearing onstage, the Sydney Eisteddfod platform is a great place to start.
Most of the 35,000 entrants who grace its stages each year consider participating in Sydney Eisteddfod as an exciting adventure in learning. Whether they place or not, most take pride in following the path trodden by some of Australia’s greatest performing artists and thoroughly enjoy the experience.
