Judith teaches at her own studio in Normanhurst, where students are trained in all aspects of Speech Communication and Drama to develop their confidence and a love of Literature and Performance. Her teaching experience spans more than forty years and includes training Verse-Speaking Choirs, spontaneity in Creative Drama classes, and Oral confidence whilst on staff of a leading Independent Girls' school in Sydney. During this time, she also directed major Musical and Drama productions for the school.
Judith has also enjoyed performing in both dramatic and musical productions herself over the past forty years, winning numerous Best Actress awards in Play Festivals.
She is a Life member of the Castle Hill Players at the Pavilion Theatre where she has been involved in all areas of both production and the management committee.
An experienced Adjudicator she travels widely throughout city and country NSW and interstate each year. She warmly welcomes these opportunities to foster and encourage competitors to reach their potential and realises the great responsibility attached to it.
She was awarded her Fellowship with Trinity College, London a few years ago. Her choice of subject for the dissertation was "The presentation of Literature in artistic and creative public performance."
For her contribution to seminars and committee, Judith was awarded life membership to the Speech and Drama Association of N.S.W. in 2010 and in 2014 received a Shield for completing twenty-five years as an examiner for the AMEB.
