The Sydney Eisteddfod Robert & Elizabeth Albert Junior Classical Ballet Scholarship is always a stellar event and this year the standard reached an all time high. Adjudicators Annaliesa Kreutz and Adam Blanch admitted it was not easy selecting eight finalists from such an outstanding line up and thanked every entrant for the part they played in this wonderful event.
Sydney Eisteddfod takes pleasure congratulating Naomi Sano from The Sydney Ballet School who emerged triumphant from Sunday’s final, ahead of Victorian Emily Bray, who finished in second place.
Following the event, Lisa Pavane, director of The Australian Ballet School, awarded one-year scholarships to male finalists Brayden Gallucci and Queenslander Navrin Turnbull,
The other finalists were Rebecca Blenkinsop (Vic), Mackensie Henson (Qld), Riley Lapham (NSW) and Bianca Scudamore (Qld).
