Entries open for the 2017 Sydney Eisteddfod

Sydney Eisteddfod is now accepting entries for it 2017 Festival.

With a prize pool of more than $400,000 and almost 350 events in eight categories, the 2016 Festival was a success which saw the likes of television personality Andrew O’Keefe and singers like Prinnie Stevens and Francine Bell host our events while participants of the Sydney Eisteddfod McDonald’s Dance of Champions had a chance to see themselves on television screens across Australia.

As usual, participants of any age will be able to choose from a pool of events in Classical Singing, Contemporary Singing, Choirs, Piano, Instrumental Solos, Instrumental Groups, Speech & Drama and Dance categories for a chance to perform in excellent venues, build confidence, form bonds with peers in a fun and friendly competitive environment and receive feedback from the leading industry professionals selected to be event judges in 2017.

News: The 2017 Festival is launching 15 new events, which include a Primary School Dance Group (K-Year 4) event and Intermediate Youth Orchestra. In addition, Sydney Eisteddfod is partnering up with NIDA for a few Speech & Drama events.
