The extraordinary Endeavour Harmony Chorus combined their best recent performances in a new CD called The Platinum Collection, which will also include their vibrant performances on the Sydney Eisteddfod stage this year.
After a three year gap from the last recorded CD, this will be the third album released by the Australian Choral Grand Prix champions, who also won the John Lamble Foundation Australasian Open Choral Championship.
Chorus member Pam Snellgrove said that after three years there was no shortage of material for the CD.
"We are so excited to be recording a new CD as we have been working on some really good arrangements of contemporary songs,” she said.
“We are so lucky our rehearsal hall has the best acoustics for recording.”
The choir “got cracking” on the CD after celebrating its 20th birthday with the show Endeavour Goes Platinum at the Sutherland Entertainment Centre in October. They were joined on stage by the Mirek Trio and singer Chris E Thomas in front of a crowd of 600 loyal fans.
And they will be ending the year with a Christmas Concert for friends and family at the Keller Hall in Caringbah on December 3.
Sydney Eisteddfod congratulates Endeavour Harmony Chorus on their many successes this year! Here's to an even better 2017.
