Chamber Music Award winner & finalists perform in Musica Viva concerts

Petrichor Sax, Hillel String Quartet, Trio Verano and 4' String Quartet, the winner and finalists in the 2014 Sydney Eisteddfod Musica Viva Chamber Music Awards, have been invited to perform in program of free lunchtime concerts.

The concerts, which are presented by Musica Viva in partnership with the Parish Church of St James, will be held in October and December 2014. For times, dates and locations of each concert please visit the Musica Viva website.

The Musica Viva Chamber Award is open to groups of 3 to 8 players aged 25 years and under, with any combination of acoustic or amplified instruments.  A list of all of the events open to instrumental groups during the 2014 McDonald’s Sydney Eisteddfod Festival is available on the Sydney Eisteddfod website. Entries to the 2015 McDonald’sSydney Eisteddfod open in January 2015.
