At 21, Susan Rose is a veteran of Sydney Eisteddfod’s contemporary singing platform and also an experienced performer. So far, the highlight of her career has been featuring as a support act for Australia’s Got Talent winner and former Sydney Eisteddfod champion Mark Vincent.
She also appeared with ONYX at the Metro Theatre and has performed at numerous clubs, community events and festivals around Sydney, including the Bring It On Youth Fest at the Royal Easter Show. With her EP due for release at the end of the year, Susan is now busily engaged in the process of writing and recording.

Why did you start singing?
I’ve simply loved it ever since I sang my first song.
What is your favourite song to sing and why?
It changes daily, but right now it would have to be 'One Moment in Time’ by Whitney Houston.
What would you say to someone that was thinking about entering the Sydney Eisteddfod?
Have fun and give it all you’ve got!
What do you dream to achieve?
I would love to perform all over the world
What is your favourite event to watch or perform in?
Contemporary singer of the year, every contestant in this is always absolutely amazing!
Who inspires you and why?
My mum, she has been my biggest supporter from the first day I started to sing and has gone through a lot to give me everything I need.
What have you learnt about yourself through performing in the Sydney Eisteddfod?
That I still have a lot to learn!
