A huge congratulations is extended to Albany Creek State High School for winning the 2018 Secondary School Contemporary/Classical Dance Group event. The troupe performed a well-polished routine entitled Ravens, choreographed by Jen Murray.
The Final of this event was held at Sydney Opera House on 26 August in conjunction with The Sydney Eisteddfod Ballet Scholarship Final.
Second place was awarded to dancers from Redlands who performed Crying, choreographed by Amanda Whittaker.
Third prize was awarded to Pymble Ladies' College Group C with their routine entitled The Last Seed, choreographed by Shelley Moore.
Sydney Eisteddfod once again congratulates the other finalists Pymble Ladies' College Group A, Central Coast Grammar School, Brigidine College, Stella Maris College, Monte Contemporary and their teachers for their entertaining and heartfelt performances.
